God is Love 1 John 4:8 He who does not love does not know God, for God is love.how does the Bible define love? Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up; does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil; does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never fails. 1 Corinthians 13:4-8. One more point you may have an incorrect picture of Father God. God is the perfect Father and He loves you unconditionally. I have said multiple times, "You are God's favorite. If God had a refrigerator in Heaven your picture would be all over it!"God sent His only Son here to pay the price once and for all sin. Past, present and even your future sins have been paid for once and for all. You may have never heard this but God is not mad at you and is not looking to punish you.He punished Jesus for all sin and has canceled the debt sin had on everyone. There is a catch, you must humble yourself and accept the free gift from God before you are saved.

You learned in the previous lesson that God is love. He is also good, gentle, kind (insert fruits of the Spirit) but He is also three separate persons and one God.I need to go on the record I am no expert on the Trinity but I know it's real and you need to understand God is different but the same. Confused? You are not alone.God is the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. Each person is a real person and each person is God. What does this have to do with 12:11 Apparel? I'm not sure but the more you know about God the more you will love Him, follow Him and be His ambassador.

God is love but He is also Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Three separate and distinct parts,but still one God. I do not claim to understand it all but wanted to get you thinking about the different ways God interacts with His people.
